Dane Anne graduated from Sabine Pass High School, attended Lamar University in Beaumont, and Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches. She worked for 15 years in the restaurant and travel industry before entering a career in healthcare.
She received her Associate’s in Nursing from Angelina College in 1992, and completed her Perioperative Internship at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She has worked in the scrub and circulating nurse roles in surgery, and as a nurse manager in multiple specialties, including home health and prison nursing. Dane Anne joined Altus as the Director of Nursing in September of 2007, worked as the Regional Director of Nursing for Baytown and Beaumont in 2011, returned to Beaumont as the Director of Surgery until transitioning into the Emergency Centers in 2013. She has been involved in the capital equipment purchases for the Altus Emergency Care Centers in Baytown, Lumberton, and Lake Jackson, Altus Hospice Sugar Land, Altus Surgical Hospital in Baytown, and the Altus Surgery Center in Beaumont, as well as assisting in the Quality Improvement Department.
Dane Anne enjoys her personal time as an Independent Associate for Stream, and lay speaker for First United Methodist Church in Kountze. Her home is in Wildwood Resort City in Village Mills.
