Meet the Leaders of Altus ER - Amir Bashiri

Amir Bashiri

VP of Clinical Services

Amir joined Altus family in 2012 as a part-time employee, and was quickly selected to serve as the first clinical administrator for Altus Emergency Center Baytown in 2013. In that role, he assisted the Chief Nursing Officer in establishing the clinical policies and procedures later adopted by other Altus Emergency Centers.  He also facilitated the recruiting and training of staff.  In 2014, Amir became Administrator of Altus Emergency Center Lake Jackson where he supervised all operational, clinical, and marketing activities, as well as involvement in community events as the Altus representative.  Then, in 2018, Amir assumed his current role of VP Clinical Services and currently oversees daily operations, staffing and facility procedures.Amir has more than 23 years of nursing experience – mostly in emergency nursing – and over 10 years of experience in healthcare management. He graduated from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and later earned his Master’s in Business Administration.

He enjoys boating, fishing, scuba diving and woodworking.
