Dr. Adriano Goffi Lumberton Medical Director

Meet Dr. Adriano Goffi Our Lumberton Medical Director

Last month we decided to make a bold move and hire full-time physicians not only to work in our emergency centers but also to help us manage them.

What Motivated the Change?

Our decision to hire physicians directly will provide many benefits to our patients as we now complete control of scheduling, and billing, which means no more surprise bills. Additionally, our decision has allowed us the freedom to negotiate much better rates with our doctors. The new rates will help lower your cost of care without compromising the quality.

Who can Be Part of the Altus Physicians Group?

The Altus Physicians Group is composed of talented emergency physicians who not only have a successful track record in their field but are also amazing human beings.

We have gone to great lengths to hire local talent, so we can continue cultivating the sense of community that has always set us apart from other emergency facilities.[/vc_column_text][us_image image=”25028″ size=”full”][us_separator size=”small”][us_cta title=”Know Where to Go in Case of an Emergency.” btn_label=”FIND AN ER” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Faltusemergency.com%2Ffind-an-emergency-room-near-me-find-an-er%2F”][/us_cta][vc_column_text]

After high school, I decided to join the U.S. Navy, it was here that my medical career started. I began as a Medical Corpsman certified in Fleet Marine Force (FMF) and Surgical Technologist. My post required me to act as a first responder to an entire United States Marine Corps platoon.

When I first entered the Navy, I was lucky enough to be selected for a prestigious Marine Corps training and chosen to attend the Naval School of Health Sciences: School of Surgical Technology.

During my training, I received the award “Super Doc,” as a result of achieving superior academic and physical performance scores in the program. I am very proud of this because it’s a testament to all my hard work and dedication.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, I went on to study at Ross Medical University, where I received my Doctor of Medicine.

I did my residency in Family Practice at Phoenix Baptist Hospital, where I also served as a professor and mentor.
