The first of our Lake Jackson September Employee Spotlight 2022 is John Barker.

[/vc_column_text][us_separator size=”small”][vc_column_text]John has been an LVN at Altus Emergency Center Lake Jackson and recently passed the boards to become a Registered Nurse.  The following is a little bit about who he is and his important role in helping us deliver top quality healthcare to the community.[/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion scrolling=”1″ faq_markup=”1″ title_tag=”h3″][vc_tta_section title=”Q. How do you think your role makes a difference in patient’s lives?”][vc_column_text]

Having somewhere to go in your community where staff is great and where it shows is great to be a part of and creates a trusting relationship where patients value.”

I started in Feb. 2021″

Working with a smaller company with a small group of people because it creates a close relationship with coworkers.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Q. So you love to work at Altus! Could you reveal what do you do when you are not working at Altus?”][vc_column_text]

I mainly work around my house, garden and doing other outdoor activities.”

[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Q. Well, John, it seems like you love the outdoors and that’s excellent for health! If you don’t mind, could you give us a fun fact about yourself?”][vc_column_text]

If it could, I would go and live in national parks around the country.”

Our second of our Lake Jackson September Employee Spotlight 2022 is Nidia Lopez.

[/vc_column_text][us_separator size=”small”][vc_column_text]Nidia works night shifts as a full-time Registration Clerk and PRN ER tech at Altus Emergency Center Lake Jackson.  She recently got accepted into the RN program at Brazosport College. I believe that patients know that they can trust our facility and staff to take care of them when they need it most; and in a timely and friendly manner.”

I started working for Altus on October 3rd, 2016.”

I love the work environment and the people I work with.”

I’m blessed to be the mom of four beautiful children; Mia (8), Amy (5), Lily (4), and Ivan (2).  So taking care of them and spending time with them and my husband Ever is my priority.  Also, I am a full-time nursing student at Brazosport College. (No free time here! lol)”

Besides taking care of my four children and my husband… I also have 36 chickens, 5 quails, 1 duck, 1 bunny, 3 goats, 1 dog and 3 fish.”
