Altus Employee - Lauren Frazier

Lauren Frazier, MBA

Regional Director of QI, Risk, and Project Management

Regional Director of EOC and Plant

Lauren Frazier’s passion for patient care has led her to roam the world, learning the intricacies of quality healthcare from many perspectives.

She first joined Altus Health in 2016 as part of The Fellowship Program under the direct mentorship of Kevin Herrington, President, and CEO of Altus Emergency Centers and Altus Lumberton Hospital. Since then, she’s been promoted to administrator and later to her current positions as Regional Director of QI, Project Management, and Regional Director of EOC and Plant.

Mrs. Lauren Frazier is a driven professional with acute attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. These traits have opened many opportunities within the Altus Health organization, and in return, her efforts have improved the quality of care provided at all our medical facilities.

As the administrator for HOPD during the transition between Altus Lumberton turning from an ER center to a Hospital, Lauren played a vital role in securing CIHQ Accreditation for all facilities, an accomplishment she views as a highlight in her career.

Lauren’s desire to help people led her to consider a career as a physician, but while studying, she realized her skills would make more of an impact behind the scenes, where she could be instrumental in improving patient experience and help close the access to healthcare gap.

After graduating from university with a degree in Health Sciences with a minor in corporate communication and public relations, she obtained a concentration in Biochemistry at Baylor University. Later she received her MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Administration at Lamar University.

She credits her prolific and successful professional accomplishments to the mentorship of individuals who piqued her curiosity and taught her to explore opportunities and excel at everything she tried.

During her spare time, Lauren Frazier loves to spend time with her husband and daughter and give back to the community through the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, of which she is a grad member.
