Dr. Adriano Goffi

Dr. Adriano Goffi, MD, MPH

Medical Director of Altus Lumberton Hospital

Dr. Adriano Goffi realized at a young age that medicine was his calling. A compassionate, enthusiastic, and caring man, he’s always been drawn to helping others lead their healthiest lives.

Dr. Goffi is also a man who understands firsthand the sacrifices and rewards of serving your country. His career started as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, acting as a first responder for an entire platoon. The experience solidified his resolve to become a doctor, and soon after serving in the Navy, he enrolled at Ross Medical University, where he graduated with honors, receiving his Doctor of Medicine.

During his residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Arizona, his enthusiasm earned him a position as a professor at the hospital. During this time, Dr. Adriano Goffi also demonstrated his administrative and managerial skills when he started several community clinics providing diabetes management, treating thyroid issues, and offering routine care to patients.

Aside from medicine, sports occupies a prominent position in his life. As an endurance athlete, Dr. Goffi became passionate about wellness treatments and, after finishing his residency, obtained several certifications in anti-aging, stem cells, and liposuction. This newfound interest led to Dr. Goffi opening New You Wellness Center, dedicated to providing patients the necessary resources to live a pain-free, balanced, and energetic life.

However, emergency medicine remained close to Dr.Goffi’s heart, and around the same time he opened his wellness center, he rejoined the emergency medicine field, building on his expertise to treat patients with a variety of ailments in high-stress and time-sensitive situations.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Goffi and his family relocated to the United States when he was very young. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and his wife and children are the most important aspect of his life.

Outside of work, Dr. Adriano Goffi enjoys vigorous mental and physical training, competing in triathlons and marathons, and staying involved in sports.
