Jason Bates

Jason Bates is an accomplished, honest and outspoken professional. His straightforward approach to situations has helped position him as a natural leader within the Altus Emergency Centers organization.

He started with the company as a full-time Radiology Technician in 2017. Within two years, his exceptional skills and hard work earned him the Lead Rad Tech position. His unwavering commitment to excellence and extraordinary work ethic catapulted his career within Altus to become the Assistant Administrator at Altus Emergency Center Waxahachie.

As an Assistant Administrator, Jason oversees the daily operation of the facility. In addition, he directly manages and supervises the lab and radiology departments.

Although Jason has a radiology and computed tomography background, he is someone who values communication as a means to achieve goals, improve processed and empower his team. His interest in communications goes back to his childhood when he dreamed of becoming a sports anchor. Thankfully, he decided to pursue his interest in healthcare services instead.

His dedication and exemplary work ethic in healthcare have earned him the Baylor University Medical Center “Service Excellence Award” twice and the Lake Pointe Medical Center “Aces Award.”

He credits his success to his constant desire to learn and the many supervisors and managers who along his career path have helped him discover his true potential and encouraged him to become the kind of professional people look up to and enjoy working with.

A native of Wills Point, TX, where he still resides, Jason loves spending time in nature despite his irrational fear of birds. When not busy at work, Jason and his family enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, hunting, and fishing.
