Celebrating the Achievements of Nathan Willis!
This month we wanted to highlight the extraordinary career of Nathan Willis, our Regional Director of Facilities Management.
The role of a director of facilities management is complex and touches most aspects of our work environment. For example, it’s Nathan’s responsibility to ensure our patients and staff have access to a functional yet aesthetically pleasing and safe care environment. To achieve this, Nathan must ensure all our facilities comply with local and state safety regulations, including fire safety and utility management.
Additionally, as Director of Facilities Management, he is accountable for effectively using our resources, long-term planning of space allocation and use, construction, and renovations.
Even though this is a demanding position within our company, Nathan consistently demonstrates the best attitude and willingness to help our company grow and succeed.
Nathan is a valued member of our work family and an outstanding member of the community. With his willingness to lend a hand wherever help is needed and his ability to embrace our community’s diversity, he is the type of person we are proud to call a colleague and friend.
Gaining a Little Insight on Nathan Willis
We’ve asked Nathan to share a little about himself, so we can all get to know him a little better.
A/ I am the Regional Director of Facilities Management. My mission is to strive to leave each facility better than I found it.
I am dedicated to improving the facility’s life safety measures to ensure a safe and inviting structure with fully working systems. My ultimate goal is to ensure that people from all walks of life have places where they can receive the medical care they need.
A/ I do what I do because we at Altus are improving people’s lives. We provide a safe and inviting haven for patients to be treated and healed so they can continue making a difference in their various life paths and journeys.
A/ I enjoy checking up on and seeing my Altus Family Members when I work at each of the sites. I also relish collaborating with my fellow team members, and bettering the facilities is another source of immense satisfaction.
Additionally, I take great pleasure in hearing from the people in various communities we have served with our dedicated team; learning how we’ve had a positive impact on their lives is truly inspiring.
A/ I try to spend quality time with my family and friends. In addition, I enjoy helping those in need with various charities.
A/ I enjoy learning about various cultures. We live in a fascinating world full of diversity. People with different ideas, methodologies, and experiences are awe-inspiring to me.
The wealth of personal and cultural knowledge is all-encompassing when you immerse yourself in the nuances of human expression.
We want to take this opportunity to thank Nathan for his invaluable contributions to our work family for the past twelve years. We hope we get to share many more.
